LRC not showing files aven after sync

For whatever reason, LRC showed a file folder on an external drive as containing no files. This folder had previously shown 1600+ files, which are all there.

I chose "Sync folder" and it showed 0 new files to be imported.

Somehow, it believes that the files are all there, but is only showing 2 of them.

NO filters are selected.

All other folders on this external drive seem to be functioning just fine.

This happens because folder sync will not sync files that have previously been imported or synced into LrC. So search for these photos in LrC elsewhere.
