LRC when selecting an area to mask it gets a blue shade (and its not the the mask overlay!!)

When I want to edit a part of a photo by using masks, just after making it, that area gets a dark blue shade.
And its not the mask overlay!!
Even with a new picture, no any adjustments made.. this happens.
I am using the latest version on Windows 11

I just finished deleted and reinstalled my LightroomC completely as it was impossible to work with and didnt see any other solution.
After the re-install (without saving any previous settings) everything works fine again.
Thanks for info though. next time if there is any similar issue will try resetting it first.
