Mac HD no longer visible

Helping a friend with her Mac. She has her images on an external drive that is suddenly not visible in Lightroom. The drive and contents appears as normal in Finder. If I attempt to "add folder" in Lightroom, I am them prompted to import the images and they since they should already exist on her LR catalogue, I don't want to do that.

Thoughts?

In System Preferences, >Security & Privacy, >Full Disk Access, do you see Lightroom listed? If not, do add it and try again.
