Mask, brush not working

Hi
Mask, brush tool does not work on my mac. Until reasently it was working properly, but not I cant get it working..
Selet subjet is working fine, but when I want to ajust using brush, it wont give any effect .. ?
I am using Mac Ventura 13.1
Anyone out there having any input regarding this issue ?
