Question

Photoshop no longer listed as a plug-in

Hi Guys,

Just wondering as to whether someone can help me with a problem that has just showed up in my Lightroom Classic? I downloaded a copy of Ps (BETA) and my Lightroom Classic then listed this app as the main Ps plug-in. I have now deleted the copy of Ps (BETA) and now can no longer use my normal PS 2024 as a plug-in from Lrc. When I open the 'edit in' box the "edit in Photoshop" link is now greyed out. Ps 2024 is still operating on my computer, I just can't get directly into it from Lr. Any assistence would be greatly appreciated. Sorry Guys, I'm using a Windows system.

Bruce

When the 'link' between Lightroom Classic and Photoshop has issues, one of the first things to try is this:

1. Use the Adobe Creative Cloud application to uninstall both Photoshop and Lightroom Classic, and when asked, keep preferences.

2. Install Photoshop first, then Lightroom Classic. The order is what is very important here.

My System: Intel i7-8700K - 64GB RAM - NVidia Geforce RTX 3060 - Windows 11 Pro 25H2 -- LR-Classic 15 - Photoshop 27 - Nik Collection 8 - PureRAW 5 - Topaz Photo
