Printing to Epson SureColor P-7000 or P-9000

I am going a bit nuts with this.  Since buying a new Epson SureColor P-7000 I cannot get the margins to print correctly.  I select letter sheet as paper size and the in the print module on the right all margins are 0.12 inches.  Preview shows a one inch margin on left and right of print (when half in landscape mode) which is what I want however I get a totally different result.  Epson has been of little help.  The test image (a 7x9 inch rectangle) prints correctly from Preview (Mac OS X 10.11)
