problem with notes (increase or descrease)

First of all, i wish to apologize for my "frenglish". After an update to Lightroom 12.1., I juste noticed an "evolution" which annoys me the most when I want to sort my photos by rating/star.

Until now, I would select a certain number of pictures using "shift and/or cmd+click", switch to "N/set ("ensemble" in french LR) mode and could - within that set - raise or lower the rating/star individually. This was note raise or lower the other pictures within the set.

Today when I make the same selection and "ensemble" mode, if I raise or lower a note, the WHOLE ensemble is affected ! This makes sorting/editing/selection rather difficult. I have to "unclick" on the picture i do not want to keep ...

It drives me crazy. Have you seen this and found a solution? Thanks in advance. David

Don't worry about it, I'm sure one of the moderators will move it. There are very many different individual forums under the one main Adobe Community site, as you can see here: https://community.adobe.com/

I've moved it to LR Classic.

I can't reproduce that behaviour on my Mac system, using LrC 12.1. Can you post a screenshot of the complete survey mode view?

Thank You Jim. Here is a video of my screen. As you see, changing a note on One Picture affects the note of the all pictures in this set.

https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-discussions/keyboard-shortcut-that-will-assign-a-rating-to-multiple-images/td-p/13128392

The "Synch Auto" button was turned "On" (on the right setting panel, at the bottom)

Hi @David281466003ttd

Since your question is about Lightroom, I have moved this from the Photoshop forum where you posted.
