Second Monitor Doesn't Display

Since upgrading to macOS Ventura and LR 2023, the second monitor does not display anything after Lightroom loses focus to another application and then returning to Lightroom.  I have to turn off click to hide the second monitor and then click the option again to get my second monitor to display.

If you unplug ONE display, any difference?

Same issue here. I have an M1 mini running Ventura, main display connected via built-in HDMI, second display/LrC secondary window via a Satechi USB-C dock with HDMI. Typically (>99% of the time) have loupe view on main display and grid view on secondary.

Secondary window will disappear and I have to either hide or uncheck full screen in the menu to get it back. Didn't see this on Monterey.

I mainly run Photoshop and LrC and do not have problems with dual displays in Photoshop or the Finder.

Can you describe exactly what you're doing, and what you expect to see.

I have a dual display system, macOS Ventura, and the lastest version of LR. I have both showing different items (loupe on one, main GUI on another). If I move to say the Finder and back, both displays preview what I saw prior to this. So unless I'm misunderstanding what you're doing, all seems fine on this end.

What are the various displays being used?

Hello,

Well, when I start up LR and move to other applications and back without doing anything in these other applications, LR behaves normally as expected.  However, in one scenario that happens every time, I send my photo from LR to Photoshop.  Once there I open a filter; Camera Raw for example.  When I click back to LR my second monitor is not used again.  This is when I have to click to hide the second monitor and then click the option again to get my second monitor to display.

My secondary monitor is a ViewSonic VP2468a

Here is what I did.

Dual displays, main display (NEC SpectraView), secondary is a MacBook Pro 16" M1/10 core etc.

In LR, select one DNG in Library/Grid. The Secondary is Loupe. Both fine.

Click on a DNG and use the key command to Edit In Photoshop. The image is rendered (by ACR FWIW), the image appears in Photoshop. Go back to LR; both displays are fine.

Start again:

Click on a DNG and use the key command to Edit In Photoshop. The image is rendered (by ACR, FWIW), and the image appears in Photoshop. While still in Photoshop, open another DNG, click "Done", the image opens in Photoshop. So far, so good.

Go back to Lightroom Classic; both displays are working as they were. I see Loupe on MBP, Grid on NEC.

Third test:

Click on a DNG and use the key command to Edit In Photoshop. The image is rendered, and the image appears in Photoshop. I then use Camera Raw as a Filter on that image and apply the edit. Go back to Lightroom Classic; all is fine.

I've used two ways to move from PS to LR: Tab Key (calls up floating dock) and by clicking on the thumbnails, I can see from LR behind the Photoshop open document. Both take me to LR, and the two displays are fine.

I am on Ventura, the latest release (NOT beta), ditto for LR.

I am not using HDMI if that might be a possible test for others. I'm using Display Port from NEC to Macbook (and at that, through a Hub).
