My method-  (which is for photos that I do not already have in Lightroom)

1)  Create a Standard Collection of photos in Lightroom-Classic

2)  [Right-Click] the Collection to set [Sync with Lightroom]

3) [Right-Click] the (now) synced Collection and select [Lightroom Links] > [Make Collection Public]

4) [Right-Click] the synced Collection and select [Lightroom Links] > [Copy Public Link]

5) Share [Paste to email or document] the copied Link.

You can also then go to https://lightroom.adobe.com/ and

1) edit how your page will display to clients.

2) Click the icon to Change settings to allow downloads, etc.

The Public link also appears here.

thank you Rob for addressing my issue

I understand you start from LRClassic (LRC) and trasnfer the photos to LRCloud (LRc)

you do this by right clicking on the collexction you wish to transfer

this is where i have the issues

right click on the Collection does NOT show your exact menu

am I doing something wrong

You are not clicking on a collection, you are clicking on a collection set.

You cannot set complete sets with multiple collections to sync and to share. Open the collection (the triangle on the left) set and select a single collection.
