I am using Lightroom 8.4.1. and there is this slider sort of thing next to a mask toggle switch... I have tried to figure out what is it and does it actually do anything? I cannot seem to find what is the use of it, if there is any? I can't use it as a slider, so is the whole O------- thing basically a switch? Thanks for help!

This is not a slider, this is the brush tool to select.

Out of curiosity, why are you still using LrC 8.x when there is LrC 13 available in your subscription?

What is your OS and version and the computer specs?

Thanks for the reply! It is still confusing to me...so the whole thing is a switch to turn the mask on/off? Why does it look like a slider?

I am working on an clients older desktop computer so I am not able to update.

IIRC, it was meant to represent the brush.
