When reopening a catalog, all of my images are dark

I was revisiting a catalog and when I opened the project, my photos all started to be darkened. while I can still edit them and get them close to how they looked before, I don't want to have to do that for the whole batch. 

Im not finding any information on why this happens and how to fix it.
