Batch editing issues

When I try to batch edit or paste settings in Lightroom classic my photos go super magenta toned. For some reason my tint slider is doing whatever it wants. Anyone else have this issues?

Are you copying and pasting between different types of files? This sort of thing can happen when you try to copy settings from a raw file onto a tif file for example.
