Can lightroom connect to a NAS drive?

Can you point Lightroom at an NAS drive, so it can upload the pictures existing there?

    I'm having this problem as well.  I was using standalone Lightroom 6 and moved my 3TB of images to a Nas Drive.  Now I'm running Catalina and trying to get to my catalog using Lightroom Classic.  And it won't let me access the Drive?!  How do we fix this?  The point is to be able to edit from anywhere while storing large amounts of images.
