Can't active detail view when adjusting whites & blacks

I have seen on a few tutorials that if you press on the screen while adjusting the whites & blacks a detail view appears like it would when using the desktop version when you hold option. When I try this on the mobile version it just shows me the before view, any idea what I can do to fix?

I'm using lightroom for android V6.0 on a Pixel 5

If you press and hold one of the sliders in the Lights panel, the other sliders will disappear, when in that state place (and hold) another finger on the empty space above (but not on the image) at which point the detail view appears. Keep holding that second finger in place to show the detail view as you move the slider to make your adjustments.

Hi Jim. I was placing my second finger on the image which was causing the confusion. Thanks for clearing this up for me.
