Can’t use Apple ID on iPad

I downloaded the app for iphone, and purchased a paid subscription using an apple id. Yesterday I decided to download lightroom on my ipad, but there is no way to log in with an apple id and use an already purchased paid subscription. How can I log in to my ipad with an apple id?

Lightroom for iPhone and Lightroom for iPad are two different apps in the app store. I am not sure if purchasing the premium option on the iPhone also applies to the iPad. This is a user-to-user forum however, so maybe it's better to ask this in de feedback forum.
