Export, delete and upload again is not possible

I encountered following problem with Lightroom CC 4.1

If I export a picture, delete this one in Lightroom and trying to import it again will cause an error. I got a red sign and the text is: the file is broken. But every other programm could open it.

Just out of curiosity: why would you want to do this in the first place? If you export an image, then the edits get 'baked into' that image. Deleting the original and importing the exported image means you can never change the edits anymore.

As to what happens, I think we need more information. Explain how to export (which settings), the location you export to, and how you import.
