Import from Downloads

Hi, My hard drive died a week or so ago. I foolishly worried not as all photos were backed-up at Amazon Photos. I am currently enmeshed in downloading them (can only do about 75 at a time), and discovered a few days ago they do not appear on the Lightroom downloads tab (well, two do of many thousands). They are present in my downloads but I canot import them to Lightroom. Assistance would be most appreciated.
