Lightroom cc local storage issue, moves picture

Hi,

here my only issue with lightroom cc.

i saved to external hd driver the original pictures.

sometimes hd disconnect accidentally (no power or pc crash!) when i open spftware again, lightroom ask me the position of the external folder (didn't change!) i link it again and everytime restart the check of all pictures, since i have more than 13.000 pictures, this takes hours... is there any solution to speed up this process? i checked and apparently there is no possibility to jump it.
