Lightroom classic crashing on Windows 10 Error - error when reading from its preview cache

Keep getting message that "Lightroom enountered an error when reading from its preview cache and needs to quit. Lightroom will attempt to fix this problem the next time it launches". Usually occurs in Library. Running Windows 10 on HP laptop. Rebooting doesnt seem to help. Any similar experiences? Any thoughts on resolution?
