Meta data file name changing issue

Beginner level.  I have several photos in an Album (Using Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Version 4.0).  I am able to add a "Title" by tapping the little "i" info icon.  However, when I am in there, I see the "file name" as a bunch of numbers.  I want to change those, but it will not allow me to tap it open.  How do I open "meta data"? How do I change that file name when it will not open?  Thanks.
