New picture folders are not identified and synced by LR

Hi,

Whenever I have a new folder with pictures on my phone, they are not detected in LR. Yet, they appear in the folder list of the automatic synchronization. But even if I switch on synchronization for this folder, it does not get uploaded automatically.

On the other hand, it takes 1/2 a second for Google Photo to detect it and propose it for synchronization.
