photos missing in updated Lightroom

I updated Lightroom from adobe cloud, and no photos are in the updated version. It is like a brand new unused Lightroom. what can I do to have all the folders and collections populate from the last version of Lightroom to the updated one?

    Hi there,

     

    That shouldn't be happening as your images in Lightroom are not showing up after the recent app update.

     

    Could you please try signing out and then signing in again. 

    1. From the menu bar, choose Help > Sign Out.
    2. Lightroom will now restart. 
    3. Sign in with your Adobe ID again when prompted.
