Preset Opacity

Hello!  I am new to Lightroom and curious how to reduce the opacity of a Preset once applied?  If I don't like a Preset at full-stregnth, I asume there is a way to fade it back until I like the look?  And just to be clear, I am using Lightroom and not Lightroom Classic.

No. No way. Presets are fixed in their settings- Apply a Preset and the Develop sliders (and other develop settings: Tone Curve, Split Toning, etc) assume the settings defined in the Preset.

You might see some provided Presets with various settings eg. Vignette: Light, Medium, Heavy.

You can apply a Preset, adjust the sliders (and other) settings, then Save your 'weaker' (or 'stronger') version of the Preset.

(Some Profiles OTOH, can have and 'Amount' slider that adjusts the Profile effects.)

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.0, Photoshop 27.0, ACR 18.0, Lightroom 9.0, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0 .
