I have purchased some mobil presets. When I go into my mobil lightroom preset to import it says they are either duplicated or invalid.

Do I need a certain version of lightroom? How do I figure out what I need to get these presets loaded?

You can't import presets directly into Lightroom Mobile. Ask the author if he can supply them embedded in DNG files with instructions how to import. That is how most preset authors do that
