Question

RAW files not now recognised

Hi

I had to reinstall Lightroom after a computer reset.  Now Lightroom 6 won't recognise my RAW files.  The camera is the same Panasonic G7 and I've run the Adobe update.  Any ideas?

Adobe doesn't sell Lightroom 6 anymore, and they have pulled all the updates. Someone might know where to get a download. I don't. The only alternative I can offer would be for you to download the DNG converter and convert your raw files to DNG files. Keep watching, someone might know where to get the update.

The installation CD only installs 6.0. All updates had to be downloaded. Adobe has withdrawn all Lightroom 6 updates as far as I know.

You may be lucky if you go to-

https://prodesigntools.com/adobe-lightroom-6-cc-direct-download-links.html

Although some prodesign links seem to stop at 'Page not Found'!

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.1.1, Photoshop 27.3.1, ACR 18.1.1, Lightroom 9.0, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0.2 .

The G7 was first supported in Lightroom 6.1. What exact version do you have installed?

Hi
My disc is Lightroom 6 and although I've clicked to update it's still
Lightroom 6. I guess from this that I'm not able now to have further
updates even though, before I reset my computer I had 6.1.
Very annoying!

I will try to move your question to the Lightroom forum.

Sorry but you have posted this question in the Adobe Captivate user forum NOT the Adobe Lightroom forum.
