Question

The "all photos" button does not show all photos

A button in lightroom labeled "all photos" is not showing all photos. If i select by dates we can clearly see photos appearing that do not appear under the "all photos" button. It all seems pretty self explanatory.

I would like a button lableled "All photos" to show all photos in the view.  How do I do this?

Is there a chance you have any filters applied? Maybe try clicking the filter icon 2 or 3 times?

I'm not sure.  I see where the filters are at the top. I can remove filters by clicking the X when they show up in the search bar.  However with all tags removed I do not see all the photos.  Is there a button to "clear search" as it were, to remove all filters?

That is odd indeed. You clearly have almost 300 photos that should be showing, and when you clear the filters, it should show them all.

I'm not able to duplicate this with my Lightroom - when I remove the filters by clicking the X on them all, I am always left with he full "all photos" content, and cannot find a way to limit the number of photos in any other way besides applying a filter.

Please go to Help>System Info… and get us the exact installed version number of your software.
