Question

can't open 3d pdf's anymore!

Hi all,

I use 3d pdf with other researchers to exchange 3d models. I was used to open the 3d pdf's in Photoshop so I could export them as obj's. The last version of Photoshop can't do that anymore, it says that the module is corrupt. I reverted to a previous version of Photoshop, but I hope the import module is updated soon. Or is there a change in the usage of this?

Cheers,

Mieke

I am having the same issue. I too was forced to maintain an older version of Photoshop on another computer to open the 3D PDF file. This was an easy way for our engineers to share our products with the marketing department to be used in collateral material. I could move the product into any position to fit the marketing design I had done, rather than setting up the real product and photographing it. This was a BIG loss to our workflow, and I wish Adobe would fix the parsing issue, so we could resume our workflow with their software.
