Can't save because of locked disk

Hello, I am trying to save a 1000x1000 PSD with a dpi of 72 in making an album mock-up for an exercise for my Digital Raster Imaging course. I'm using a 16GB thumb drive as my targeted save location. It takes a while for the file to save and when it reaches 100% I get this message:

I don't know if it is because the document is large but it's holding me from completing this simple exercise. I'm using Photoshop CC 2024 version 25.9.1 20240610.r.626 e3aae35 x64 on a HP Pavilion x360 with Windows 11 OS.

Thanks to whoever helps.

Switching to pixels worked. I don't know how the person in the tutorial can do an album mockup with a size that big.

@7757134rx1e "I'm using a 16GB thumb drive as my targeted save location" and there is the problem, always work from local storage and not removal media/network shares

This looks like an enormous file if it displays almost full screen at 1%.

Have you accidentally set 1000 inches instead of 1000 pixels? What is the pixel size of this document?
