Can't use Edit In PS 2025

I use a combination of LR Classic and PS 2025 for most of my editing/retouching.  I also have PS Beta, but have not really used it.

I used to be able to right click on an image then select "Edit in PS 2025 to have an image open in PS then save back to LR Classic.  Since today's updates of both LR and PS, the only option I get when I right click is to edit in PS Beta. The option to edit in PS 2025 does not appear.

How can I get back the option to edit in PS 2025?

Correct answer AxelMatt

Check the settings on the "External Editing" tab in the Peference dialog. There should be a list of installed Photoshop version on your machine.

If it isn't try to reinstall Photoshop 2025.

Thank you!  That was exactly what I needed to do. The screenshot of what to do was especially helpful.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

One solution is to uninstall Photoshop Beta. You can also try changing your file associations in macOS Finder or Window File Explorer.
