Como deixar forma atrás do texto ?

Olá,estou com uma dúvida nesta arte,gostaria de saber como deixo essa forma atrás do texto ? Eu tentei utilizar o traçado no Illustrator,mas a mesma não fica reto como está nesta imagem,já utilizei as opções do traçado e não obtive sucesso.

You could apply a stroke as a layer style, add a layer below the text, and use the same color as the stroke to fill in any spaces with the Brush tool (with the Hardness set to 100%).

If you'd like to connect areas on the baseline, you can click once with the brush, hold the Shift key, and click in another spot to have Photoshop draw a straight line between the points.
