Hello! I have a HP spectre 360 gaming laptop with intel core i7 GEFORCE GTX. I did a batch of 80 photos with denoise and it took 8 hours to complete!

what can I do to help this? My GPU is 8gb my CPU is 2.60GHz

Denoise runs entirely in the graphics processor (GPU). It does not even touch the main processor (CPU).

This needs a modern/recent GPU to run efficiently. It will still run on older GPUs, but very much slower. Generally, Nvidia's newer RTX series will be at least 5 times faster than comparable models in the older GTX-series. In other words, an RTX 4060 will be around 5-6 times faster than a GTX 1660.

Without knowing how big your raw files are, it's not possible to say what the actual numbers should be. The timings are directly proportional to the megapixel size.

A fairly "normal" raw file around 24-30 megapixels should take 10-12 seconds in a new RTX, but well over a minute, up to several minutes, on an older GPU.

If you post Help > System Info, your GPU will be listed there if you don't know what model it is. But since you say GTX, it sounds like a fairly normal and expected processing time for 80 files.

It also sounds like you're making the common mistake of assuming you should run Denoise on all your files. That's not the intention, nor is it in any way necessary or beneficial. For "normal" photographs at low ISO; noise is not a problem. Standard noise reduction (still available) is more than good enough to deal with it.

Denoise is a power tool for extreme cases, shot under particularly difficult conditions, where you need to push ISO to, say, 6400 and beyond.
