Flickering Menüs

Hello, unfortunately I have flickering in the menus

and in additional windows (e.g. save dialog) after loading images in Photoshop.

Everything seems very sluggish.

In the task manager I see 8 instances within Photoshop

I've also tried a previous version (Photoshop 2022, 22.xxx) to use, but is unfortunately identical.

The flickering disappears when I disable GPU support, but then Photoshop is still much more sluggish.

It could also be a Windows problem as I recently updated to version 22H2.

My System: Windows 11 22H2, Nvidia 1070, 64 GB RAM

Sorry, you disable the GPU and the issue stopped.

Try Preferences > Technology Previews... and enable "Older GPU mode (pre 2016)" - Restart Photoshop if you didn't.

Yes, without the GPU, the product is slower.

You can get a better GPU, or roll back to older version of PS that doesn't use the GPU the same way. Your call.

Hi,

i think my problems are not recognized .... :((((

I use Photoshop and until this year CS and CC for a long time.  Unttil the last update there are no problems with flickering menus or optional windows in Photoshop !!!

With the update to 24.01 the Problems start !!

I have reinstalled the last version of Photoshop, and the problems are the same !!!!

Until this update my GPU was total ok, and with this update this ok is gone ?????????

Sorry, drivers are up to Date ( Today !!)

Why is most the answer that my hardware is fault or the driver are not actual !!!

I have test the GPU Mode  .. It ist D3D 12, and the GPU Test tolds me, that all is OK  ( 8473 MB von 1500 MB  )

If i activate the Info for GPU the Window refresh goes to  5/sec , poor

If turning OFF GPU works, it's a GPU bug and you need to contact the manufacturer or find out if there's an updated driver for it. This is why disabling GPU is an option as more and more functionality moves to the GPU in newer versions of many Adobe products.
