To address the issue with the stripes appearing after using Generative Expand, here’s a method you can try:

1. Instead of expanding directly, try inverting the crop boundaries from the top and sides. This can help Photoshop understand the area better and reduce artifacts like stripes.

2. When expanding, use a prompt to continue the light effect present in the background, describing it as a smooth, abstract blue light with gentle gradients. This can help blend the new area more seamlessly with the existing parts of the image.

3. After expansion, if any lines or artifacts remain, use tools like the Healing Brush or Clone Stamp in Photoshop to manually remove them.
