How to move Count group with image rotation

Hello, 

I'm marking object in images using the count tool. When I tried rotating and flipping an image, the counts do not stay with the image as I am rotating or flipping the image. Is there a way where I can make the counts stay as I'm rotating the image?

    Never noticed that disconnect, might be worth a bug report. 

     

    I expect the best approach would be rotating the image before counting. 

    As a work-around for images with existing counters a Scripting approach seems feasible.
