Laggy/scrubby brush size adjustment in liquify

When I adjust the brush size in liquify, it feels very un-smooth. This changed today after updating to Mac OS Sonoma 14.0.

        Happens on windows 11 as well. When I change the size of the brush by holding alt + right click it freezes and jumps around....One of my friends told me that he has this bug too on windows. So I guess it's general
