Levels in Photoshop 2024 not working

Levels in Photoshop 2024 just stopped working for some reason. When clicking Command L, and sliding the levels up and down, nothing happens. But i worked out it does work if i create an adjustment layer. Has anyone experienced this problem?

@David32940506unil it's working fine for me with Photoshop version 25.4 on Windows 10, have you tried manually resetting your Photoshop preferences

Remember to backup your settings before doing the preference reset
