Photoshop suddenly quitting without warning when adjusting a clipped curve (PS24)

My Photoshop has recently started quitting without warning, sometimes every 5 minutes. It seems to happen when adjusting a clipped curve adjustment layer. I have autosave set to every 5 minutes. Still, sometimes the recovered file doesn't even stay open long enough for me to save it and disappears from the AutoRecover folder altogether.

The amount of time lost due to this bug makes it incredibly frustrating to use the software.

Has anyone found a fix for this?
