Playback Speed of Actions is not saved

Each time I launch Photoshop, I have to go to the actions panel, select Playback Options and set it to accelerated. For some reason, step-by-step is the default, and changing this option is not saved after quitting Photoshop. Is there any way around this?

Using PS 24.7.0 on Windows 10.

I found the cause of the problem. A script I was running regularily set the playback speed to Step By Step each time, but did not return it to Accelerated upon finishing.

Strange, I can not reproduce either. As a last measure try with preference reset. Save all unsaved actions and presets before reseting prefs.

Thanks, I'll give it a try!

I don't have this issue, however, you can record an action to set the playback mode to accelerated, and have the Script Events Manager play this action whenever Photoshop starts.
