refine edge tool bug
- Hi, ive been having issues with the refine edge tool for over 4 months now, and have been unable to resolve dispite many efforts. I work on dogs so i use the refine edge tool to include all the hairs after i select and mask then select subject . However, the + (plus) option on the brush doesnt add the hairs to the mask, instead it removes them and does what the - (minus) option does. So it is impossible to mask my subjects as the refine edge tool is bugged. I have contacted Adobe twice now and the first time they blamed it on my laptop and it being a performance issue, so after spending over a thousand pounds on a new laptop it is still not working, so i comtact them again and after being online on the phone while they adobe customer service has remote access to my laptop for over 2 hours, he said that he cant figure it out and that it must be a bug that he assured will be fixed in the next update. This isnt convincing as there has been multiple updates within the 4 months that this has been happening. Bearing in mind i am running a buisness and all my clients have been left waiting for their photographs for months and i cannot take on any new clients because of this. I have tried everything as well as making a whole new account and reinstalling photoshop as well as resetting preferences, nothing has helped. Very frustrating as i am literally paying for photoshop to not even be able to use it. Please can someone offer real help, thanks.
