Remove tool

Hello, there is a long-term problem with the remove tool. It is amazing tool, but the problem is that it works from time to time. Once it works properly and next time it doesn't work and leave just strange line instead. I don't know what is the issue, tried different options, but nothing works, it happens and dissapears randomly. Attach the picture of the lines. Of course, it is possible to remove it with generative fill, but in small cases like this it is much easier and faster to do it with remove tool.
