I'm using Photoshop 23.1.1 on an iMac running Ventura 13.5.1. Each time Photoshop restarts I am greeting with this error message:

After hitting Dismiss the program works fine, but it's an annoyance to get that message with no end in sight. What might be causing it, and what can I do to fix the problem?

I'm happy to report that the simple preferences reset solved the problem. Before I ran that I carefully copied out all my preference settings, yet they somehow remained intact after the reset!

32gb RAM, 138gb available disk space. That ought to be enough to run P'shop without problem of this sort. I haven't tried resetting the preferences, I will and report back.

How much RAM and spare hard disk capacity do you have?

Have you tried resetting your Photoshop preferences back to the factory defaults, which you can do under the General tab in Photoshop preferences?
