Can't open my files

Why would I get "Could not complete your request (to open a file) because the file is not compatible with this version of Photoshop elements" when I just barely created it with this very version of photoshop elements?

    Hi,

    For your original problem we need some more information:

    Which operating system are you using?

    Which version of PSE are you using?

    What extension does the file have?

    I had a look at my mobile version of the forum and at the top right, beneath the banner heading, there is an Action button - select that and you should see discussion. That starts a new thread on mine.
