When I first installed PE14, I messed around with the settings in export and share. The result was that any video I edited and exported had black bars all around the video, it will not reach the edge of the screen. An example is the original video is 852x480, using quick export it becomes 640x480 with the black bars all around.

So I uninstalled and reinstalled it in hopes that I would get back to default settings. Well... I just tested it and same result

I want to edit and then export the video in the exact same resolution, I don't understand why it doesn't do that automatically.

(I edited the video in expert mode and then clicked export and share, I used quick export)

Cheers

    Two notes:

1 - It's a question about Premiere Elements you are asking in the Photoshop Elements forum (for stills, not videos). There is a dedicated forum for PE where I am sure you'll get answers:

    Premiere Elements

2 - It's a user to user forum. There are other users giving answers and taking part to discussions... if they think they can help. Just look at all the discussions to see how that works. You'll note that there are also answers by users with an Adobe Staff logo in some cases. It's different from a Help desk. The advantage is that you'll get support for older PSE or PE versions (Adobe only officially supports the last version, 15 presently). The users to user forums are the best choice for 'how to' questions and for discussing the opportunity of posting a feature request or a bug report in feedback forum.

Does no one know how to fix this or is this just the way it is?

Is there no support from Adobe here? This question is FOUR MONTHS OLD!
