Elements 11 won't link to new scanner

When I go to file-import it still lists my old scanner. I can't figure out how to make it connect to the new scanner, HP Envy 4520. Can anyone suggest a solution?

Probably the scanner doesn't support Twain, which is what pse 11 uses to connect to a scanner.

Most newer scanners on the mac side only support ICA (image capture), which unfortunately pse 11 doesn't have access to.

You could use the Image Capture.app in Applications to scan and then open the scan into pse 11.
