elements 15 won't update

Every time I click update it says I have the latest version which isn't true. I got the canon sl2 from a cyber Monday deal I couldn't pass up. Now I'm trying to edit and camera raw won't open them. Adobe's site shows there's an Elements 15.2 version and Camera Raw 10 but it wont update. I'm using the windows version.

    Hi,

    I haven't found the 15.2 upgrade for PSE - can you provide a URL?

    The Canon SL2 (EOS200) requires minimum Camera Raw of 9.12 (or Lightroom Classic 2015.10).

    PSE 15 only supports up to Camera Raw 9.10

    I think it is unlikely that Adobe will make the 9.12 update work with PSE 15 - their normal policy is to only provide updates for the current version (2018).

    As I see it you have the following options:

    1) Upgrade to PSE 2018 (at a cost)

    2) Use the Canon software to convert the image to a lossless format like TIFF and edit that in PSE

    3) Download/Use the free DNG converter from Adobe to convert the RAW to DNG format which can be edited by PSE.
