How do I set Photoshop Elements 14 to always open in expert mode?

I like to work offline and whenever I open Photoshop Elements 14, it immediately goes to eLive and tells me it isn't available.  I can't find a way to set Expert Mode as a default.  So far, I am not very happy with Elements 14, and I certainly do not want to upgrade to 15 with all of the problems (Adobe calls them new features) I am having with Elements 14.  This issue is only one of many that frustrate me.  I am considering going back to Elements 13.  If anyone can help me with this particular issue, it would be greatly appreciated.  Getting help from Adobe is like being on a non-stop merry-go-round.

    I've had that happen a couple of times where the pse 14 editor gets stuck opening with eLive.

    What i did was connect to the internet and let eLive get it's "updated content"  then switch to Expert.

    Shut down pse 14, turn off the internet, restart the pse 14 editor and hopefully it'll be back to expert
