How to ensure PSE 2020 catalog completes the facial recognition after converting a 2019 PSE catalog?

My 2019 PSE catalog had approximately 30,000 photos & videos. I imported about 6,000 more photos/videos. 2019 PSE was analyzing faces from those imported photos (75% completed) when I exited the program. Next I purchased and installed 2020 PSE. During installation, I accepted the 2020 PSE prompt to convert my 2019 PSE catalog to a 2020 PSE catalog. When I opened the catalog in PSE 2020 organizer, the facial recognition didn’t continue.   How can I ensure all photos in the converted 2020 PSE catalog are completely processed for facial recognition?  And no, I didn’t do a backup before converting to 2020 PSE.

Hi,

Face Recognition should automatically start on the remaining pictures. Can you try closing and relaunching the application again?

Please make sure the files you want to perform Facial recognition are not disconnected. Face Recognition should also me turned on in Preferecnes->Media Analysis.

Please let me know if Face recognition is still not working on your catalog.
