Inserting text into photos

In previous versions of PSE for Windows, like PSE-14, I could drag a piece of text from MS-Word straight into a photo in a new layer..

This is usefull if you need text to explain something in the picture. It's very fast and far better than

the text module in PSE itself. However: in PSE 2020 I can't do that anymore or I overlooked some setting.

Has someone any experience in this kind of work and can set be (back) on track ?

    Highlight the text in Word and press CTRL + C

    Open the picture file in PSE and press CTRL + V
