Question

Installing Photoshop Elements 13

I purchased Photoshop Elements 13 in April 2015 and installed it on my laptop.

This week, my hard drive crashed, so I purchased a new laptop. I have attempted to install the program on my new machine, but I keep getting an error that the installation has failed:

Unfortunately, when I try to click the "Error Summary" file, I get sent to a web page that says "Your file was not found".

I have tried restarting and following the instructions listed on the error.

I was able to enter my serial number during the process. Is it possible I didn't choose the correct version? (32 bit is what I chose; is it possible I needed 64??)

I need to get this installed ASAP, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi,

    Sincere apologies for the inconvenience.

In case you are using the 64-bit version machine then you would need to install the corresponding version of PSE as well.

You can check it from your system information section.

You can download the correct version from Download Photoshop Elements | 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10 and use your existing serial key.

Hope this helps. Please get back to me in case of any queries.

    Thanks,

    Arshla

I did try also downloading the 64 bit. Now I get this error when installing. I have followed the instructions and restarted twice now. Still getting the error.

    Help!

    Hi Stephan,

In this dialog, click on ignore and proceed with the installation.

Try and get back if it installs fine.

    Thanks,

    Arshla
