Invalid Serial Number

Hello, my name is Alex. I am running Photoshop Elements 7. I have ran it on my desktop for years with no problem. I am trying to get it on my laptop, but every time i put in my serial number, it says "The serial number you entered is not valid." This copy was purchased at Costco years ago, and I am certain that it is valid. I talked to customer service, and they had me run cleaning software, then uninstall and reinstall. This did not work, and I was sent here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Sorry to hear you are experiencing these problems and some of your attempts to find help are being rejected by moderators. You are using old software which can sometimes cause compatibility issues. For example recent updates to W10 by Microsoft have resulted in application failure for some users. The volunteers in the community always wish to help but for product activation and serial number validity; only Adobe staff can take action. You may wish to contact Adobe directly but make it clear you are not looking for product support and that you need your activation's re-set.

I am trying to use my serial number on Elements 7. Not the current version. I have contacted already customer care, and they were unable to help me. I was told to try to find help on the forums.
